I have worked in variety of sectors including education (primary, secondary and higher), leisure, commercial, residential, industrial and healthcare taking many projects from inception through to detailed design.

I have good team working skills and an ability to develop good relationships with both colleagues and external stakeholders. I have developed a particular interest in sustainable and low carbon design, leading me to undertake sustainability related Masters degree. I particularly enjoy interaction with the design team, working together to develop designs with integrity, ensuring a balance of cost effectiveness, aesthetic quality and energy efficiency to meet Client requirements.

In addition to my in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, I have become an advanced user of thermal modelling software. Undertaking thermal analysis, energy analysis, daylight modelling and Part L calculations enabling me to develop, verify and assess building performance and servicing strategies effectively.
