PEOPLE
3 promotions / 5 new team members
Staff recognition and acknowledgement have been a key aspect of our success in 2019. This year saw the promotion of Ed Prior to ‘Technical Associate’ and Chris Franks to ‘Mechanical Associate’, creating an Associate level team alongside John McCormack who re-joined the company as ‘Electrical Associate’ this year after working abroad.
Jake Allister, previously nominated as CIBSE Yorkshire’s ‘Apprentice of the Year’, was promoted this year to the position of ‘CAD Coordinator’ and is taking his training to the next level, strengthening the skills of the entire department as a result.
Jake Kay also re-joined the company this year, after spending a year with NOVO as part of his Mechanical Engineering studies in 2017. His position is now ‘Graduate Mechanical Engineer’, and he works alongside Michael Loughlin who joined in summer as a ‘Graduate Mechanical Engineer’.
We are also joined this year by office manager Deborah Dimbleby, and Cairn Pearson who became ‘Junior Sustainability Consultant’ this summer.
As part of our 2019 initiative to place people at the heart of our operations, we decided to support Calderdale Council’s ‘Our Stars’ staff recognition event by sponsoring their ‘Act of Kindness’ award, as an expression of our shared ethos.
We have worked closely with Calderdale Council over recent years as part of AHR’s multidisciplinary team, to deliver Moorside Community Primary School, Copley Primary School and the Halifax Academy. As part of our partnership, Calderdale Council’s media team has produced the following video about NOVO Integration and our staff culture.
Thank you to our staff, partners, clients, associations, suppliers and readers for supporting NOVO Integration through 2019.
Since NOVO means “to make new, to refresh, to revive” – we wish you all a very “Happy NOVO Year”, and look forward to all the opportunities, challenges and connections 2020 may bring.
